FEOLIN FARM is a delightful holiday retreat, with plenty of comfortable accommodation for a group of friends or an extended family gathering.

The interior has been extensively modernized, but the house has lost none of its traditional charm.  There are 4 good-sized double/twin bedrooms with 2 additional children’s beds and a cot, making this ideal for a large family group.  The modern fitted kitchen has a breakfast bar, and there is a separate dining room and a cosy sitting room with fine sea views, a working open fireplace and french doors to the garden.  From the sitting room you can gaze over the sea to the Isle of Arran and the Mull of Kintyre on the mainland.

The garden is fully enclosed and laid mostly to lawn, making it ideal for children. The patio offers a stunning view seawards, and is provided with garden furniture and a barbeque.

Jura (meaning 'island of deer') is particularly famous for its red deer which will always be seen on the hills behind the house but, at certain times of the year, will also graze close to the garden.  The fields in front of the house are a wildlife haven with a number of resident birds including heron, oystercatchers and greylag geese.  Other wildlife seen around Jura are otters, black grouse and eagles as well as seabirds and the handsome Highland cattle.

Photographers, artists and nature lovers will appreciate the beauty of the surrounding wilderness.  Keen walkers may trek to the north end of Jura to glimpse the fearsome Corryvreckan whirlpool in the narrow straits between Jura and the smaller island of Scarba.
